S*Ardwyn Virginia Woolf BRI a
Molly is a big female with a dark blue crispy coat and good eye colour but her face is not round enough for showing and she is rather leggy but still young. She is a lot heavier than she looks tipping the scales at just over five kilograms.
Molly is from my first litter after mating GB*Misskin Lilac Mitten in England with GB*Adtresh Bewicke Bandit just before leaving for Sweden as Lilly called while I was on holiday in Devon visiting my first GCCF show.
Unfortunately when Bandit was tested, due to the PKD-panic in Sweden at the time, he was diagnosed positive and was immediately removed from breeding and neutered. As a follow-up Bandit's mother was also PKD tested and had it badly so she was also neutered. Bandit's line is terminated apart from two PKD-negative offsprings now living in Western Sweden, S*Ardwyn Jane Austin and S*Ardwyn Samuel Beckett are both PKD-negative after re-testing.
Molly was tested PKD-postive in August 2004 at the Animal Hospital in Skara with 10 Mhz when she was 11 weeks old and re-tested at the Animal Hospital Strömsholm in October 2005 where once again she was PKD-positive and all hopes of a mistake disappeared. She was neutered at the Small Animal Clinic, University Animal Hospital in Uppsala the following week and now lives her life as a happy early pensioner together with her sister Emily and all my other cats. Molly went to another home but it din't work and now I'm too fond of her to let her go. She is very affectionate and always just ahead of Archy checking visitors.
Check her grandmothers line on www.pawpeds.com incase you recognize any cats in your own lines.
