GB *Misskin Lilac Mitten BRI c
Lilly was born on the 12th of June 2003 and moved end of January 2004 from Misskin to Moormist until I could collect her. By then she was almost ten months old. She is very cuddly but also very shy and hates car travel so shows are not for her. She prefers to spend her days at home guarding the fridge - just incase ..................
Lilly is a very pretty cat with a soft lilac colour almost free from ghost markings. Her father and all his line are colourpoint while maternal grandfather's line are also colourpoint so her eye colour is a bit weak but she has en excellent head and short crispy fur. Such a shame she would be frightened at a show........... maybe when she is older....
She has recently given birth to her secound litter with five very lively kittens who rush around my house and use curtains to lower themselves from window ledges or scale my settee like scenes from Cliffhanger ....................... They were born in 45 minutes late one Saturday evening and the first kitten had already found the milkbar before the last was born. Lilly is a wonderful mother and watches over her babies constantly - though now from the safety of the table as they galopp by.
Lilly's first litter were all blue after GB*Adtresh Bewicke Bandit who unfortunately had PKD and five of the seven kittens are positive - only two are negative - who said 50-50 chance? It was devastating. The ones with PKD have been neutered and live their lives as beloved pets while the two that are healthy live as loved show/stud-cats.
Lilly is tested PKD negative in July 2004 at the University of Agricultural Science Animal Hospital in Uppsala with 10 Mhz. Bloodgroup B.
